Carle Auditory Oral School is an approved non-public special education program; academic content is in compliance with the Illinois Early Learning Standards and the New Illinois Learning Standards incorporating the Common Core. CAOS is also a member of OPTION, an organization of private listening and spoken-language programs committed to excellence in the education of children who are deaf and hard of hearing. We’re recognized as a viable educational option for children with hearing loss.
